(2015) This pub recently changed its name to The Boatman. The Boatman
opens its doors as Windsors only proper pub on the river after a complete
refurbishment and rebrand, bringing a fresh and relaxed atmosphere to the
area. Directly on the River Thames overlooking Eton Bridge, The Boatman is in one of the best locations in town for soaking up the incredible waterfront views and watching the world go by. The Boatmans extensive outside terrace offers seating for up to 100 people and is available for exclusive hire making it perfect for al fresco celebration during the spring and summer months. Head inside and youll be met with a stylish pub that combines olde worlde pub charm and sophisticated socialising to create a relaxed place to eat, drink and be merry. Youll also find a chic space for private events for up to 80 people along with a range of menus created to fit for any event. The team at The Boatman has created a menu and bar offering thats filled to the brim with classic, freshly cooked food, great wine and a fantastic selection of cider and beer, all served with a warm welcome and friendly smile. (2005) This pub changed its name from The Donkey House to The River House Restaurant and Bar. Prior to being the River House and Donkey House this pub was apparently The Kings Arms. |
