Information from Kevin Prout, Sydney, NSW (Sept 2007)
Kevin lived in the Fawn from 1963 to 1971 when his father Roy Prout and mother Norma Prout were the licensees. Kevin recalls his father putting many hours of work in fixing up the shelving and the bars. It was also the first pub outside London to have a disco (with a jukebox) and had what his father described as the largest wine selection outside London. |
